Dear Angels,

During these uneasy economic times and this season of political changes, it’s more important than ever to make sure our heroes have a Happy Holiday and know they are still loved and supported.  I am counting on all of you to help us meet our mid-November deadline for the Wrapped in Holiday Spirit campaign.

Please place your Angel focus on this for the next few weeks to help successfully complete the mission of getting 180,000 care packages out to Iraq and Afghanistan

There are many different ways to help!  If we work together, we can draw in the support we need to ensure that each and every hand of a US military personnel serving overseas this December will be opening a Wrapped in Holiday Spirit package this year.

You can also complete all your holiday shopping now, by donating a complete care package for just $18.75 in the honor of a teacher, friend, co-worker or relative! We will send you a beautiful certificate for you to present them to mark the occasion.

With the spirit and dedication of all our 200,000 Angels working together, we can complete the mission.  Wingtip to wingtip, we can make a difference in the lives of our deployed heroes.

I am counting on you to spend the next few weeks spreading the message of Wrapped in Holiday Spirit.  As I write this, we only have a little over 2,000 blankets for the care packages, and we need many more donations—each donation and each blanket makes a difference.   Here’s how you and others can help:

This winter, an estimated 180,000 U.S. military personnel will be serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, in combat environments or in support of combat operations. Some will be on their 3rd or 4th deployments--spending yet another Holiday away from the loving arms of family and friends. We want them to know that they are remembered, that we are thinking of them during the winter Holiday Season, and that we are grateful for their service. Since we can't all wrap our arms around them in person to show how much we love and appreciate them, Soldiers' Angels needs your help to make sure each one of America's heroes is Wrapped in Holiday Spirit. So we ask…..
Can you be there for a Hero this Holiday Season?
